The City of Vaughan is in the process of developing web enabled applications that
will allow public users to obtain City information directly through their mobile
devices. When functional, these applications will allow you to access information
such as:
- Search for waste disposal information
- Look up your waste collection schedule
- Report streetlight outages
- Access winter maintenance updates
- Obtain water quality information
As the City looks to broaden its service delivery channels, these types of quick
“self serve" tools are an efficient manner in which to distribute information
services quickly. The City will continue to broaden these applications to include
many other services offered by the City of Vaughan. Our mobile pages and content
are best viewed with select Mobile devices and browsers.
Vaughan Mobile is the entry point for City applications, services and information
designed expressly for mobile devices.

time, we are unable to provide support for models other than those listed.
How do I know what model of Blackberry I have? Top
If the icons on your Blackberry desktop looks like those in the figure
on the left, follow the instructions for an OS-5 model. If your desktop icons look
like those in the figure on the right, follow the instructions for an OS-6 model.
OS 5 Models
For OS 5 devices, select the ‘Options’ icon on the desktop (Fig
1a), and then select 'About' on the resulting menu of options (Fig 1b). The number
of your model is shown on the first line of information (Fig 1c).
OS 6 Models
For OS 6 devices, select the ‘Options’ icon on the desktop (Fig 2a),
and then select ‘Device’ on the resulting menu of options (Fig 2b).
Select ‘About Device Versions’ on the second level menu (Fig 2c). The
number of your model is shown on the first line of information (Fig 2d).

This device has been tested and requires no modifications, assuming you are browsing with the default browser.

How do I launch Vaughan Mobile? Top
To access the Vaughan Mobile homepage, enter
mobile.vaughan.ca into your Blackberry browser address. Your browser
will load the Vaughan Mobile homepage.
